Mrs. Rivas is a bilingual and bicultural, licensed clinical social worker, with more than 13 years experience in the nonprofit sector. She has dealt with many different groups, including LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse as well as survivors of sexual assault and intimate relationship violence. In 2019, Ms. Rivas is serving Erie's clients. She is currently offering Telehealth Behavioral Health services. Mrs. Rivas has worked with prenatal and postpartum mothers for more than 10 years. She is a specialist in trauma-informed treatment and also provides EMDR for adult patients. She provides group and individual counseling sessions, a Medication Assist Treatment Program, referrals to specialty care, and women's support groups. Amanda works as a Best Friends Animal Society volunteer and assists in the search for an appropriate home for homeless animals. She is dedicated to The Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and is working hard to make Los Angeles into an animal-free city. Amanda goes beyond her capabilities in order to achieve her goals.
